Rubbish Collection Days

Binning rubbish is only half the battle. In order to Keep Cardiff Tidy, it is important that everyone keeps to their correct rubbish collection day as bags put out on the wrong day split and spill causing an unsightly and unhealthy (encouraging vermin) mess.

Food waste from your kitchen caddy will be collected on the same day as your usual refuse service. If you live in a tri-bag area, your white bio-bag will be collected weekly, along with your black bags.

Wheelie bins must also be put out on the correct day.

Here are the rubbish collection days for Cardiff (see below for Christmas collection dates) :

Monday - Heath, Rhiwbina, Llanishen, Cyncoed, Pentwyn, Llanederyn

Tuesday - Pentyrch, Radyr, Morganstown, Whitchurch, Tongwynlais, Gabalfa, Llandaff North, Penylan, Plasnewydd
